As you can imagine, we are going to need tons of prayer and financial support to implement this vision into the context of our community. We believe that God has and is raising up individuals and churches to partner with us in this wonderful privilege of advancing the Kingdom of God. It is overwhelmingly clear that Jesus’ essential call was to plant churches.
Virtually all the great evangelistic challenges of the New Testament are calls to plant churches, not simply to share the faith. The ‘Great Commission’ (Matt.28:18-20) is not just a call to ‘make disciples’ but to ‘go and baptize’. The best method to do this is to continually plant new churches with the vision to reach the unchurched people groups of the community.
With our community being as poverty so poverty stricken, we need you. Not only can you participate in the fulfillment of the Great Commission from within our church, but you can also reach and take care of the poor as Jesus desires and the prophets have preached. In essence, by partnering with our church you will be worshiping Jesus as He commanded in John 21:15-17. You can be a part of this exciting adventure by partnering with us in the following ways.
How to Partner //
1. Prayer. Please pray for the leadership, church, community, new life and repaired lives
2. Left over group materials, i.e. Bibles, coloring pages and craft materials, adult Bible studies; used sound equipment, software, etc.
3. We have current costs. We have ongoing costs. We would love for you to help us meet our basic needs of facility costs and missions. A partial list of the items need is below.
Weekday event center $35,000 yearly
Used for Office, Fellowship, Discipleship groups, Storage Space, Community Events, after
school tutoring, and “safe” space for persons in the community.
Worship Facility $7,500 yearly
Every Sunday we meet in the community center for corporate worship. ($50 per hour)
Van $15,000
This will allow us to drive and pick up our walkers (approximately 35 even at this early
stage) on rainy and bitterly cold days. This will allow us to take educational and spiritual
trips in the community.
Equipment $5,000
This would provide our church a Sound System, Video Projector, Projector Screen, Printer,
and a computer to record and edit Sunday Sermons for your weekly convenience.
Insurance $2,000
This would provide Renters Insurance, CCLI licensure, etc.
Miscellaneous $5,000
Would be used to purchase sidewalk chalk, printer paper, crayons, water, popcorn machine,
Lysol wipes, coffee, Lord’s Supper supplies, website upkeep, discipleship material, etc.
Salaries
Currently all staff is unpaid. Our prayer is to provide each of the five of them a small
stipend to allow the time to continue providing day-to-day leadership and vision.
